We're into March now, and although it's not always been that warm, there's definitely a Spring-like feel, and dad enjoys getting plants for the house and garden! So, after another pleasant lunch at the Billacombe Tavern with hosts, Darren & Sarah, we popped up to Otter Nurseries where dad could get some roses, and a few freebies too!
It's good that dad enjoys looking after plants, as I don't mind looking at them, but have no desire or inclination to know how, or what to do to get there in the first place! Still it made a nice little break before my afternoon teaching! Dad misses being able to potter about in the garden, because it hasn't been the right weather, but he'll soon be out there again, no doubt!
