I don't expect to comment on every concert I review, but last night's one at the Great Hall, Dartington, was especially memorable. It's a lovely venue, and Mez and Lara, on behalf of Dartington Plus always make us so welcome, and reserve us a nice seat. In fact this is what makes reviewing such a pleasant experience - it's the people, new and old, you meet, that really is so enjoyable. The OAE were superb, and American fortepianist, Robert Levin, was terrific, not only to listen to, but also to watch! Have a look at my review when it appears online!Friday 15 February 2008
