I can't believe that we enjoyed another lovely meal at the Lord Nelson in Topsham only last Sunday with cousin Ken, and then heard from him during the week, that the pub had ceased trading and closed!
This is a real shame, as we really enjoyed it there, and it was the place where we held the first Buttall Reunion in 2006.
We hope that Ken can find us an alternative venue for our occasional Sunday lunches with him - or that the pub can reopen, but the way things are going in the UK, I think it's a sign of the times, and won't get better in my lifetime!
